Sustainability

We believe that improving the quality of society and the environment is part of our sustainability policy, supported by good intentions and commitment. Although the amount of effluent produced by our factories is small, we have built water treatment facilities in both of our factories to treat the effluent before discharge.

TIMURAYA's social responsibility (CSR) initiative embraces environmental protection and community development. Being an integral part of the community, we carry out annual programs that benefit the communities around our factories. These programs include providing free medical treatment and dental care for the surrounding community and donating qurban during Eid ul-Adha. To meet the clean water needs of the surrounding community, we have also built several clean water wells. We built an Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in the health sector.

We continuously strive to minimize the side effects of our factory operations on the environment, employees, and the surrounding community by installing dual absorption installations, smoke removers, scrubbers, inverters, and capacitors. We also operate the steam from our combustion to generate electricity for our sustainability business. In addition, we keep every area around our factory green by planting trees and other plants and taking care of them regularly.
